Charitable Foundation Unveils New Optical Program

Feb 2010
The RAGFL Charitable Foundation is again offering members and their families the opportunity to receive family care. Project Vision will be offered to members and their families with assistance up to $100 per RAGFL family member starting March 1st. Application forms here or in either the RAGFL East or RAGFL West locations. Project Vision is for all RAGFL members and families; not specifically for members financially unable to receive optical care and it is open to more than one RAGFL family member at $100 maximum each. Members will fill out an application form and submit electronically or by mail. The Charitable Foundation will reply with an acceptance letter and a form to be given to the member’s vision care provider/doctor. That form will be returned by the vision care provider/doctor with the invoice for the service provided to the member or family member. Any questions can be directed to Kathie McEvoy at 954-563-7261. Download application form.

Charitable Foundation Year End Roundup

The RAGFL Charitable Foundation wishes the RAGFL membership a very happy New Year and thanks them for their support during 2009. Project Smile was a great success, and members are reminded to submit dentist bills and verification letters by January 15th for reimbursement. The auction fundraiser in October raised more than $6,500 dollars to allow the Foundation to continue assisting people in urgent need of assistance that can’t be found elsewhere. The annual Christmas Party for the Children at the Broward Partnership for the Homeless (BPHI) is always a heartwarming and fulfilling project and the toys contributed by realtors® at the Realtor®/Lawyer Holiday Social will be put to good use at BPHI. Besides assisting individuals and families, the Foundation also supported the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County this year by helping families of young children meet the cost to attend after school care and supplied gift cards for their holiday party at the Lauderhill location.
