Luncheon and Fashion Show

On Thursday, December 1st, the Charitable Foundation hosted a Fashion Show and Luncheon at the Coral Ridge Yacht Club in Fort Lauderdale. Funds from this successful event will be used to assist those in urgent need in our communities. Attendees enjoyed a festive luncheon before bidding on baskets full of unique and exciting items during a brief auction. Local real estate Agents and Brokers were the stars of this event, as they strut their stuff in fashions from Sondro Boutiques. Be sure to view the entertaining pictures. Santa and Mrs. Claus go to the Broward Partnership for the Homeless

This year, John Castelli (aka Santa Claus), Claudette Bruck (aka Mrs. Claus) and several Charitable Foundation Trustees participated in the 9th Annual Christmas Party for the children at Broward Partnership for the Homeless. This annual party took place at the Homeless Shelter on Saturday, December 17th. Santa made 29 children believe in him that day, and brought them joy for the holiday season. For the past 4 years, the Charitable Foundation has assisted Claudette Bruck (real estate Broker, Commissioner in Coral Springs, and Trustee) in hosting this party, which gives each child toys, clothes and shoes, as well as refreshments. Prior to this, Claudette hosted this event on her own. You can see by the pictures that it was a real “Here Comes Santa” moment. Photos | Video |
Wheelchair Donation

The Charitable Foundation received a request from a young man who had outgrown his wheelchair and had wished to be able to play wheelchair tennis. The 20 years old was injured in an automobile accident in 2008. Currently, he helps coach the basketball team at Cardinal Gibbons High School, where he was a star volleyball player. The modified wheelchair was delivered to him on Wednesday, January 4th. Please share the joy the Charitable Foundation Trustees felt when they saw Nick in his new chair. View Photos |
